Hi, I’m Sam, the owner of Thornton Carpentry.

I’m a local carpenter based in Crawley, with around three years of experience in the trade. I started my carpentry journey through college and have continued developing my skills through hands-on experience on the job, working on a wide range of carpentry projects.

One of my proudest achievements so far has been reaching the SkillBuild 2024 National Final in Carpentry. Competing at national level was a fantastic experience and gave me the opportunity to put my skills to the test under pressure, working to strict time limits and high standards.

After gaining experience in the trade, I decided to take the next step and build something of my own. Thornton Carpentry was created with the aim of providing quality carpentry, reliable workmanship and a service that customers can trust.

I enjoy taking on all types of carpentry work, from smaller jobs and repairs to larger projects and bespoke builds. I work independently on most projects, but I’m also happy to work alongside other trades when a project requires it, making sure everything comes together smoothly.

Based in Crawley, I work with customers throughout the surrounding areas, bringing a friendly, professional approach and attention to detail to every job.
